Katie Abisla

Katie is originally from Massachusetts in the USA and went to the University of Vermont for my undergrad, and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science. She has worked in Burlington, Vermont for a year at a cat only clinic as a veterinary assistant before attending the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from vet school in 2022 with a Bachelor's of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery, with commendation and is a Certified ‘Fear Free’ Practitioner to work specifically with anxious and nervous patients. 

Outside of work, she enjoys running, dancing, hillwalking, travelling, reading, and of course snuggling with her boisterous, but very sweet Flat Coated Retriever, Finley whom she absolutely adores.
