Emily Wood

Emily has been with us since May 2023, originally as maternity cover, but we loved her so much we decided to snap her up long term.

After leaving school Emily’s passion for animal began when she started working with horses at a local yard, gaining certificates in horse care and horse care management. She then spent a further 5 years travelling all over the UK working with racehorses, where she fell in love with the care and rehabilitation side of racehorses, particularly the more interesting and difficult cases, this is what brought her to ourselves at the Vet Centre.

With us Emily is keen to grow her knowledge across a range of different animals and their needs.

In her free time she enjoys catching up with friends and family, visiting her OAP horse Gerry (her words not ours!), as well as going on adventures with her collie Millie.
